Nepal marks 13th Earthquake Safety Day

The 13th Earthquake Safety Day was observed with a variety of programs in the capital today, calling for community initiative and adherence to the building code in order to minimise the damages caused in an event of an earthquake. Speaking at a program organised by the 13th Earthquake Safety Day, National Main Celebration Committee here on Sunday, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal said since the damages to be caused by natural calamity was difficult to forecast, public awareness should be raised on minimising the risk of calamitie......(read more)
